1. Provide a twisted pair switcher that shall support four HDMI inputs, and shall provide long distance signal distribution of video, audio, and control over a shielded CATx cable
   1. Rack-mountable switcher for the extension of HDMI, audio, and control
   2. Video input requirements
      1. Shall provide four (4) HDMI inputs for digital video signals
         1. HDMI 2.0b specifications include data rates up to 18 Gbps, HDR, Deep Color up to 12-bit, 3D, HD lossless audio formats, and CEC
      2. Shall support digital video resolutions up to 3840x2160/60 @ 4:4:4 chroma sampling
   3. Audio input requirements
      1. Shall support embedded digital audio on HDMI inputs
   4. Video output requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) RJ-45 for connection to an Extron DTP®-enabled product
      2. Shall be configurable for sending digital video, audio, and bidirectional RS-232 and IR signals to an HDBaseT™-enabled display
   5. Switching requirements
      1. Shall Provide configurable automatic switching modes between input sources
         1. Last connected: always switch to the last active connected input
         2. Configurable priority: switching priority may be assigned arbitrarily for any combination of the four inputs
   6. CATx cable transmission requirements
      1. Shall provide signal transmission distance capability of 330 feet (100 meters) for all supported video resolutions using a shielded CATx cable
      2. Shall support video, audio, and control over a single shielded CATx cable
      3. Shall actively buffer DDC channels
   7. EDID requirements
      1. Shall provide automatic EDID management between connected devices
         1. Provide a set of pre-stored EDID files
         2. Support capture of EDID from any connected display
         3. Support user uploading of custom-generated EDID files
         4. Support assignment of any pre-stored, captured, or custom uploaded EDID file to any input connection
   8. HDCP requirements
      1. Shall be HDCP 2.3 compliant
      2. Shall provide the option to disable HDCP processing at any HDMI input connection when passing unencrypted content
      3. Shall provide human-readable visual confirmation of HDCP compliance when encrypted content is routed to a non-compliant display
      4. Shall provide real-time verification of HDCP status for each digital video input
         1. Accessible through front panel LEDs
         2. Electronically accessible over Ethernet, RS-232 or USB connection
   9. Audio requirements
      1. Shall support multiple embedded audio formats
      2. Shall support embedded HD lossless audio formats
   10. Communications requirements
       1. Shall support bidirectional RS-232 communication pass-through up to 115200 baud
       2. Shall support bidirectional IR pass-through
       3. Shall support EDID and HDCP transmission
   11. Control/Remote – RS-232 and IR pass-through over shielded CATx requirements
       1. Shall provide connection for AV device control
          1. One (1) 5-pole captive screw: RS-232 or IR pass-through to DTP-enabled product
          2. RS-232 serial communication insertion from Ethernet port
   12. Control/Remote – switcher control requirements
       1. Shall provide connections for remote switcher control

       2. Shall provide alternatives for configuration and operation
          1. Front panel controls
          2. Product configuration software connected via USB or Ethernet
          3. Serial commands sent over Ethernet, RS-232, USB connection
          4. Contact closure ports configurable for use as input selection
          5. Tally outputs that provide +5 VDC to light an LED. indicating the currently selected input
          6. Contact closure and tally ports configurable for independent use
       3. Shall support disabling of front panel controls to prevent inadvertent or unauthorized changes to configuration settings
   13. Power requirements
       1. Shall accept remote power from a DTP2-enabled product
       2. Shall accept local power
       3. Shall provide DIP switch on rear panel for selection to provide power to a connected DTP2 receiver
   14. General requirements
       1. Shall include a USB configuration port on the front panel for data access and firmware updates
       2. Shall provide directly readable real-time verification of signal flow and operation
          1. RJ-45 signal and link status LEDs on rear panel
          2. LAN signal and link status LEDs on rear panel
          3. Power status on front panel
          4. Auto-switching selection status LED on front panel
          5. Signal presence and HDCP status LEDs for active input/s on front panel
       3. Shall be compatible with CATx shielded twisted pair cable, and Extron XTP DTP 24 shielded twisted pair cable
       4. Shall support the use of HDMI to DVI-D cables or adapters for DVI-D signals
       5. Shall have a 1-RU high, half rack width metal enclosure
       6. Shall be equipped with an external universal AC power supply capable of supporting 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz power
       7. Shall meet regulatory compliances
          1. CE, c-UL, UL
          2. CE, C-tick, FCC Class A, ICES, VCCI
          3. Appropriate requirements of RoHS and WEEE
       8. Shall provide at least three (3) years parts and labor warranty
       9. Shall be compatible with all Extron DTP-enabled products
