XPA 2001 · XPA 1002
The Extron XPA 2001 and XPA 1002 are half rack, convection cooled models in the XTRA™ Series of 1U audio power amplifiers. These models offer low or high impedance operation to cover a variety of application needs. The XPA 2001 delivers 200 watts into a 70 volt or 100 volt line. The XPA 1002 delivers two channels of 100 watts per channel into 4 ohms, 8 ohms, or 70/100 volt systems. The XTRA Series is ideal in a variety of environments for amplification of voice and program audio content in low or high impedance speaker systems.
XTRA Series ENERGY STAR® qualified amplifiers are energy efficient products that conserve energy and reduce costs. They feature an Extron exclusive, highly efficient, advanced Class D design with patented CDRS™ - Class D Ripple Suppression technology that provides a smooth, clean audio waveform and an improvement in signal fidelity over conventional Class D amplifier designs. XTRA Series power amplifiers are housed in a compact 1U, convection-cooled half rack width enclosure and do not require fans for cooling, making them ideal for installation in racks, lecterns, credenzas, and other applications with limited space and ventilation.

Application Diagram
In this classroom example, AV sources are coming in to the IN1606 Scaling Presentation Switcher, which is controlled by a TLP Pro 1025T touchpanel. The IN1606 outputs video to large & small displays and audio to an XPA 2001 70V, feeding six SF 26CT ceiling speakers.
