Extron Presents TP Transmitter and Receiver for High-Resolution RGBHV

September 2002) – Extron Electronics introduces the Inline VTT001CM Transmitter and VTR001CM Receiver—affordable, high performance products for transmitting and receiving high-resolution RGBHV video signals up to 500 feet (152 meters) over CAT 5/5e/6 UTP cable, including the Extron Skew-Free™ AV UTP cable. The VTT001CM and VTR001CM are compatible with resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 and are perfect for applications such as boardrooms or large training facilities that often require long distance cable runs of high-resolution RGBHV, RGBS, and RGsB video signals. The VTT001CM and VTR001CM utilize UTP cable for the distribution of high-resolution signals providing considerable advantages in terms of cost, performance, and ease of installation. UTP cable is a fraction of the size of coaxial cable, much lighter, more flexible, easier to terminate, and less expensive. Together, UTP cable and Extron twisted pair products provide AV system designers and installers with an economical and space efficient solution, while maintaining optimum video quality. Available as AV connector modules in a black or white finish (there is also a tabletop version), the VTT001CM and VTR001CM can be easily integrated into the Inline CPM Series modular connector plates and Inline CIA Series interfaces. On its own, the VTR001CM can function as a receiver for the Inline IN1404XT, a video/RGB scaler with twisted pair output and seamless switching. The transceivers can also be incorporated into a high performance twisted pair system with the Extron TPX 88, an 8x8 twisted pair matrix for RGBHV and stereo audio.
