It connects seamlessly with Extron control systems, calendaring systems, and room occupancy sensors, with no licensing required.
With wall and ceiling models and only a single PoE cable needed for most applications, the SSI 100 offers unmatched convenience and simplified installation. Both designs are available in white with a paintable cover to fit any décor.

The SSI 100 supports three modes of operation to provide illuminated indication of availability:
- Digital Input Mode – Green and red colors
- Calendar Mode – Green and red colors
- Secure Platform Device (SPD) Mode – Broad range of RGB colors
For standalone use (Digital Input Mode), the SSI 100 utilizes an occupancy sensor to display room status, eliminating the need for additional software or Extron products.
With Extron Room Scheduling and Wayfinding (Calendar Mode), the SSI 100’s engraved, illuminated indicator enhances value by displaying room names and availability in bright red or green, viewable from a distance. This functionality is powered by Room Agent software. In Calendar Mode, the SSI 100 integrates with the Wayfinding Interface, offering a streamlined alternative to TouchLink Scheduling Panels. This simplifies navigation and scheduling within a complete Room Scheduling solution.
When integrated with Extron Pro Series Controllers (Secure Platform Device Mode), the SSI 100 enables custom configuration via Global Configurator or ControlScript software for seamless room status communication.
Broad Choice of Colors
The two-sided backlit lens offers increased visibility from multiple perspectives, ensuring status information is easy to see. Customization options, such as an engraved and illuminated room name, classroom number, or corporate logo, enhance branding and functionality. Operating in calendar and digital input modes, you can select from green and red to indicate occupancy. When connected to an Extron control system, you have the freedom to customize the LED illumination with your choice of a broad range of RGB colors. Extron control also allows enhanced functionality, if desired, enabling colors to fade in and out, alternate, or blink on and off.
