"The MGP 464 delivers an extensive lineup of features that provides the performance and flexibility essential for mission critical applications," says Lee Dodson, vice president of marketing for Extron. "With the MGP 464, users can quickly and easily create custom picture-in-picture displays for virtually any presentation need." In addition to a host of features for fully customizing PIP presentations, static or full-motion images can be incorporated as backgrounds. The MGP 464 includes Extron's innovative Graphic Still Store, a feature that enables live screen captures, or images uploaded from a PC, to be stored for use as presentation background images. In addition, live video from a DVI source can also serve as the background to any PIP presentation. For large-scale applications such as command and control centers, two or three MGP 464 units may be cascaded via DVI to create up to eight or 12 windows. Inputs to the MGP 464 are configurable for easy integration into any presentation system design. For DVI digital applications, the MGP 464 DI is available with four DVI inputs. Simultaneous analog and DVI outputs are provided for RGB up to UXGA (1600x1200) or HDTV component video up to 1080p. Full front panel controls are provided for comprehensive, integrator and user-friendly access to all functions. Remote control of the MGP 464 is available via RS-232, as well as Extron IP Link® Ethernet control for remote management and support from any authorized Web client.
