The Extron NetPA 204 POE is a Dante-enabled, PoE powered, four channel audio power amplifier that delivers up to 20 watts per channel. It is designed to be mounted above ceiling tiles, out of sight and near the speakers. Receiving audio and power over a single cable, the NetPA 204 POE automatically recognizes connected PoE, PoE+, or PoE++ to deliver the corresponding amount of output power. With its integrated DSP, the NetPA 204 POE includes essential signal processing that offers the ability to meet the requirements of complex, decentralized systems while Dante Domain Manager and AES67 support ensures wide compatibility with enterprise configurations and other network audio devices. The NetPA 204 POE is housed in a half rack, 1U, plenum rated enclosure that is fanless for silent operation.

Dante Connectivity
Works as part of a complete networked audio system solution
The NetPA 204 POE delivers Dante networked audio to speaker systems located remotely from centralized AV racks. This enables decentralized and reliable distribution of Dante audio to multiple speaker zones throughout a room, facility, or building, making the NetPA 204 POE an ideal choice for audio amplification in Dante systems. Also supporting AES67 for Audio over IP Interoperability and Dante Domain Manager enterprise level network management, the NetPA 204 POE power amplifier connects to a variety of other devices and network infrastructure.
Mix Matrix with DSP
A built in matrix allows any Dante input to be mixed to any amplifier output. Included in the mix matrix is essential processing such as gain adjustments, filters, dynamics, and delay. Integrated DSP capability makes it easy to deliver simplified complete systems that include source ducking and routing, all without a separate audio DSP.
Extron DSP Configurator Pro
Control and Monitoring
Amplifier parameters and status are controlled and monitored through an IPCP Pro xi Series control processor connected to a Dante network. Alternatively, a DMP Plus Series processor can be used for network control via a Dante connection.
In this amplifier-speaker subsystem, a variety of audio sources are routed via Dante or AES67 to a NetPA 204 POE Network Power Amplifier mounted to the ceiling grid with an ATB‑100 tile bridge mount. The audio is processed by the integrated DSP of the NetPA 204 POE according to the requirements of the space where SF 3C LP Ceiling Speakers provide multiple zones of audio playback. Network audio routing allows for the flexibility to handle the variety of changing room configurations common in modern systems.
